Construction Closure of 3rd Ave.
Construction on the new Broomfield Police Building project began in late July and will continue for approximately 20 months. As a part of this construction, a closure of W 3rd Ave. will be required. Beginning on Sept. 25 and extending through Spring 2028, W 3rd Ave. will be closed between Descombes Dr. and Spader Way to through traffic. This closure will allow for safe construction activity across 3rd Ave. to the construction staging site of the new Police Building and will provide on-street parking for contractor vehicles.
